Purpose of the Blog

This blog is written for those who are interested in choral music, vocal pedagogy, and/or the bass register. My main objective is to educate (and hopefully entertain) musicians with different views and approaches to the voice as well as other related areas in life. I will be emphasizing subharmonics on this blog, but will also keep things open to other areas/categories of the voice.

Contents of the Blog

My approach is by no means completely scientific – I will try to explain, document, and research the voice and how subharmonics work to the extent of my abilities as well as the collaborative research that has already been put forth by others. I always welcome collaborative and engaging feedback from everyone as my stance is open to new/different ideas and concepts.
